James D’s Party Time – Contract
Terms & Conditions
Once the contract has been sent to the customer they then have a 7 day period to ether confirm the booking by completing the contract and returning it to James D’s Party Time or cancelling the booking by contacting James D’s Party Time.
Any events cancelled or not confirmed after the 7 days the customer will then by liable to pay 50% of the booking Fee.
To ensure that the customers fully understand what is involved in confirming the booking please read the following agreement carefully.
Once a customer has confirmed a booking with James D’s Party Time for a certain event James D’s Party Time will guarantee to perform that event on the date and time specified in the contract. By doing this James D’s Party Time will not take any other events for that time slot on that day of your booking. This means that work will be turned away for the same time of your event and James D’s Party Time will be committed to your booking.
Even if a deposit isn’t taken the booking is trusted as confirmed.
If the customer, then decides to cancel the event for any reason the following charges will apply:
100% cancellation fee within 28 days of the event or
50% cancellation fee outside off 28 days of the event
Becomes payable immediately to James D’s Party Time!
This could be for any reason, for example: A sudden illness, a double booking of the venue, bad weather/act of god, changing of the event date by the client.
By returning a completed booking form / Contract you AGREE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS.
If the customer has not paid the 100% of the balance due for the event before the entertainer leaves the venue, then a late payment fee of £20 is added onto of the booking. The outstanding balance is then due within 72 hours, failure to do so may result in legal action being taken.
James D’s Party Time also has the right to change the entertainer booked for any reason even if a specific entertainer from James D’s Party Time has been originally requested.
To ensure that your James D’s Party Time event runs smoothly and without unnecessary problems please be advised that a minimum set up and pack down time is essential and is stated on your contract. Please be clear that this is a MINIMUM time required with the understanding that the vehicle can be parked close to the set up area (within 10 metres).
There will be a substantial amount of equipment required for your event. Therefore, you must make James D’s Party Time aware if the event area is FAR away or UPSTAIRS from the vehicle. Failure to do so may result in the Entertainer making the decision not to perform your event due to Health and Safety reasons for himself or that of the equipment. This is your responsibility to check your venue and not that of James D’s Party Time!
